18 Fully Funded PhD and Postdoc Positions in Cardiac Research

The newly established German Collaborative Research Centre (SFB1425) “Heterocellular Nature of Cardiac Lesions: Identities, Interactions, Implications” is recruiting 13 PhD students and 5 post-docs to join cutting-edge research that aims to develop insight and tools to improve clinical outcomes after heart lesioning — to make better scars!

We are looking for pro-active minds with skills across the board of biomedical research. The majority of positions will be at Freiburg University and the Freiburg-based Max Plank Institute for Immunology and Epigenetics, with a number of additional posts at the Universities of Heidelberg, Bonn and Frankfurt/M. Applicants for a PhD should hold a first-class MSc, post-docs are expected to show an emerging track-record of independent research, as witnessed by peer-reviewed publications. English-language skills at level B2 or better are required.
