The International Center for Water (IWC) annually offers full scholarships to international applicants from any country in the world to study the Master of Catchment Science awarded at Griffith University. The value of this scholarship is AU $ 56,000, which covers the full tuition fees for a full-time Master of Catchment Science study, for the program starting the 1st trimester 2021. Recipients will be responsible for costs associated with a student visa, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), travel to Australia, accommodation and living expenses.
Eligibility:
International applicants must be entry-level students at Griffith University for the MCS program. All scholarship applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:
• An undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally recognized institution.
• 2 years of professional experience (paid work or volunteer experience relevant to the program after obtaining the baccalaureate). Although not essential to enter the MCS program, applicants with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience are more likely to obtain a scholarship.
• Receive a full offer of admission to the Griffith University MCS program.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the English language (PEL) in accordance with Griffith’s requirements.
Applicants will be selected on the basis of:
• leadership qualities, including collaboration and teamwork, initiative, communication skills, etc.
• professionals and volunteer records, including achievements, members of professional organizations and professional references.
• Excellent academic record.
• Commitment to design and lead the implementation of measures to restore and protect watersheds and waterways.
• The likelihood of positive impacts on the individual and the water sector from participating in the MCS program.
Scholarships are not available for the IWC Watershed Process Graduate Certificate or Watershed Hydrology Graduate Certificate or any other program.
