Master Scholarship in Intercultural Business Communication in Slovenia

The Master in Intercultural Business Communication is an interdisciplinary study program offering knowledge and skills to support the communication of market players (businesses and non-profit organizations). Particular attention is paid to language proficiency, contemporary modes of business administration, including internet marketing and international strategies, and to the key general skills of intercultural dialogue and intercultural relations. The objective is to provide a solid knowledge of the specificities of doing business in the Euro-Mediterranean region and beyond, as well as to develop communication and intra-personal skills of individuals, allowing them to assume managerial responsibilities. in complete confidence.

Conditions of admission

Applicants must meet all of the criteria below:
  • Baccalaureate or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of the English language at an advanced level (CECR-C1);
  • Knowledge of French, Arabic or Italian at an intermediate level (CECR-B1);
  • 16 ECTS or equivalent in courses related to economics, business, management or marketing.
In the event that applicants do not meet the criteria in number 4 above, they will be offered
an independent study bridging program with an exam prior to enrollment in
the IBC program. The bridging course is open to all applicants who requested it
at the time of their application for the master’s program. The exam will take place in September and will be conducted remotely. It is free for applicants to
the master’s program.
Students have the opportunity to study 1 semester at Urbino Carlo Bo University, Italy.
Those who choose this option must demonstrate knowledge of the Italian language at
intermediate level (CEFR-B1).
