Postdoctoral Fellowship in Breast Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy, USA

A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sangeetha Reddy, (Sangeetha Reddy, M.D., Internal Medicine | Breast Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy), in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study Breast Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy. Our laboratory has several exciting projects related to improving outcomes of breast cancer patients through immunotherapy.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in tumor immunology leading to publication in peerreviewed journals is recommended. Candidate should possess strong laboratory and analytical skills, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and proficiency in oral and written scientific presentations. The candidate will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with the rich community of basic and translational scientists at UT Southwestern, as well as a team of medical oncologists. Specific duties for this position include: handling and processing patient tissue and blood specimens for immune and molecular assays in coordination with existing UT Southwestern core facilities, performing complex experiments, initiating and assisting in design of new techniques and procedures, analysis of multi-parameter research data, assisting principal investigator in the writing of research papers for publication, and working with mouse models.
