Merit scholarship for Master 2 from the Alliance Grenobloise for integrated structural and cellular biology

As part of the Chemistry Biology Health Graduate School of the University of Grenoble Alpes, the GRAL research consortium finances Masters 2 excellence scholarships.

We are looking for candidates who want:

– follow one of the following Master programs (2nd year MSc / Master 2 / M2) at the University of Grenoble Alpes (taught in English):

– Master in Biology

– Structural biology of pathogens

– Immunology, Microbiology, Infectious diseases

– Neurobiology, Neurosciences

– Physiology, Epigenetics, Development, Cell differentiation

– Master in plant biology: PLANTA International

– Master in health engineering

– And carry out a research internship in the field of integrated structural and cellular biology in one of the laboratories of the GRAL consortium in Grenoble: IBS, LPCV, BioSanté and LCBM. The list of possible research projects will be published on the GRAL website in February 2022 (https://www.labex-gral.fr/ongoing-calls/).

800 € per month between September 2022 and June 2023 (10 months)

Admission to Master 2 at the University of Grenoble Alpes is completely independent of the GRAL scholarship. Registration deadlines may differ depending on the program. See the admission conditions on the Université Grenoble Alpes website: http://www.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/fr/grandes-missions/formation/candidatures-et-inscriptions/.

The scholarship is conditional on registration in one of the above programs of Masters in biology, plant biology or health engineering at the University of Grenoble Alpes, and on maintaining a satisfactory academic record.

We strongly recommend that applicants contact the supervisor (s) of the research projects that interest them.

– A cover letter indicating the Master’s program selected at the University of Grenoble Alpes, and 2 choices (in order of preference) for the internship project.

– A CV

– Diplomas and copies of transcripts of the last 2 university years (translated into French or English if necessary).

– For people for whom English is not the mother tongue, or who have not completed their training in English, the level of language proficiency (for example, TOEIC, Bulats, etc.)

– A letter of recommendation

– For students applying for the first time to the University of Grenoble Alpes: application number on the e-candidate portal

Applications will be evaluated by a selection committee made up of representatives of the GRAL consortium and the relevant Master programs.
