International Outstanding / Early Stage Researcher Positions funded through TÜBİTAK Schemes at Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH), Türkiye

The International Researchers Program of TÜBİTAK implements two different funding schemes. Click to see more information about them:

• 2232 – A: International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers
• 2232 – B: International Early Stage Researchers Program

What is funded

Scope of the Grant:

The program will include:

1. Scholarship for the coordinator,

2. Family allowance (if applicable),

3. Initial research grant,

4. Research project grant,

5. Scholarships intended for establishing a research team (including scholarships for up to 5 graduate students and post-doctoral researchers)

6. Project Incentive Bonus for researchers involved within the scope of the research project,

7. Institutional share allowance for the host institution,

8. Health insurance for the coordinator and his/her family,

9. Travel allowance for the coordinator and his/her family,

10. Mentoring Support.

Additional benefits offered by IZTECH will include:

1. Office and lab space for the researcher and the team

2. Extra credits for scientific experiments from the Integrated Research Centers laboratories

Duration

The fellowship period is a minimum of 24 months and a maximum of 36 months.
