The Department of Biology at Lakehead University invites applications for a nine-month Limited Term Appointment. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to teach for the Applied Life Sciences programs at both the Lakehead University – Orillia and Georgian College – Barrie campuses in the areas of cell biology, genetics, and molecular biology. The position will commence on August 1, 2020 at a rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Preferred candidates will have:
- An earned Ph.D. in a discipline related to cell biology, genetics, molecular biology or microbiology from a university recognized by Canadian Universities;
- A demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level with an excellent teaching record.
