Doctoral Scholarship in Medical Sciences, Australia

Each year, the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) may offer a Doctoral Fellowship in Medical Sciences.

The scholarship aims to attract high caliber international students to pursue graduate level research, at the JCSMR,  in neuroscience.

Eligibility

The award will be offered to a potential student who:

  • is an international student  ;
  • enrolled full-time in a Doctor of Philosophy degree program at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University  ;
  • holds an Australian Honors Baccalaureate with First Class Honors or equivalent, and has relevant research publications and / or research experience  .

Benefits

The scholarship will include an annual living expense allowance paid fortnightly in arrears and a fee waiver scholarship for international students. The scholarship also provides allowances for the reimbursement of the thesis as well as paid medical, maternity and paternity leaves.

Further information

 In order to be considered for this scholarship under the main scholarship offerings, international students must apply for admission by August 31st.

It is strongly recommended that you contact the relevant graduate studies supervisor or a future supervisor, before applying for admission, to discuss the proposed research topic and related questions.
