The Thematic Project described above announces the opening of a post-doctoral position for up to 4 years to candidates of any nationality. The focus of this project is on viral factors, immune response, and the effectiveness of ChAdOx1 n-CoV19 vaccine against new SARS-CoV-2 variants. The fellow will work at the Medical School of the Federal University of São Paulo (EPM-UNIFESP), Brazil.
Candidates must have expertise with population genetics, bioinformatics, unsupervised methods, and Bayesian statistics. Documented experience with GATK will be considered a positive aspect.
The candidate must present initiative, good scientific production, advanced knowledge of English, availability for an immediate start, and for scholarship abroad.

The selected applicant will receive a post-doctoral Scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) with a monthly stipend of R$ 7,373.10 and a Technical Reserve equivalent to 10% of the annual scholarship amount to meet expenses directly related to the research activity.
