scholarship program of the Brücke / Most Foundation for Czech and Slovak students

The scholarship program of the Brücke / Most Foundation for Czech and Slovak students at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden was set up in autumn 2001. Since 2002, the scholarship has consisted of a 1: 1 Matching Funds scholarship from the Brücke / Most Foundation and a scholarship for foreign students from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Bonn.

There are currently four scholarships in the amount of € 400.00 per month for a period of 10 months. Some scholarships can be split so that multiple students can be supported. The selection process takes place every autumn. A selection committee made up of representatives from the University of Music and the Brücke / Most Foundation decides on the award of the scholarships.

As part of the scholarship, the students like to organize the house concerts of the Brücke / Most Foundation. Every year, selected scholarship holders have the opportunity to present themselves as part of the Czech-German Culture Days festival.

We look forward to good relationships with our scholarship holders and wish them all the best in their musical careers.
