Schöller Fellowships

The Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center for Business and Society at the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg aims at contributing to responsible leadership in business and society. Based on the research focus “Creating Cohesion – Designing Change – Realizing Innovation”, the Research Center supports top-level research by creating and cultivating an international network of outstanding scholars and establishing vibrant collaborations with local roots and global outreach.

The Research Center grants fellowships for outstanding scholars on an annual

basis in the following two categories:

Schöller Senior Fellows

For internationally renowned scholars.

Schöller Fellows

For promising early-career scholars (including assistant professors, post-docs and outstanding PhD students).

The Research Center grants funds of up to 50,000 € per Schöller Senior Fellow and up to 20,000 € per Schöller Fellow for the realization of their proposed research project.

Fellows are expected to contribute with their competence and experience to the research activities of the School of Business, Economics and Society in Nuremberg.

Applications must be submitted by both mail (original document) and email (electronic copy). Application deadline is December 31, 2021.

Note: A Schöller Fellowship is not a permanent position (i.e., Fellows are neither employed by the Schöller Research Center nor the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg).
