We are seeking to recruit at the earliest opportunity a highly motivated Plant Biologist and experienced Team Leader for our facility in Einbeck (Germany). This position is on a permanent and full-time basis.
As a Team Lead Plant Research (m/f/d), you are leading a team of scientists and technicians working at the interface of basic research and trait development in different crops. As an experienced and forward-thinking Plant Biologist, you will be in charge of the team strategy, the design and/or implementation of innovative research methods and the development of new traits.
You are known to be an innovative, inspiring thinker with a proven ability to design research strategies, to challenge the status-quo, and to steer R&D programs.

Who you are and what you bring to the table?
- You hold a PhD and/or any other higher qualification in biology, biochemistry, or related subjects. You have significant experience in leading a R&D Team either in an academic or industrial setting.
- You have acquired a broad knowledge in plant biology, including developmental biology, physiology, molecular biology, and genetics.
- You have a proven track record in elucidating complex biological processes.
- You have proficient English language skills; basic German is an advantage.
- You are willing to travel internationally.
