Post-doctoral researcher Ecology of sea birds

The activity of the Marine and Freshwater Research Center (CRFM) of GMIT aims to achieve three important results: promoting sustainability, conserving biodiversity and improving productivity. CRFM scientists attract substantial competitive funding for industry research activities and a diverse range of national and European programs. Our clients and collaborators include international organizations and agencies, national agencies, industry and national NGOs. In partnership with the National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Dept of Culture Heritage and the Gaeltacht, we wish to recruit a postdoctoral researcher to join our CRFM team as part of an 18-month project on the distribution and abundance of seabirds in the Irish offshore environment.
