The S3 group (http://webqo3.webs.uvigo.es/) in the Organic Chemistry Department at the Universidade de Vigo (Spain) is looking for a Chemistry/Physics graduate interested in pursuing a PhD in the field of molecular modeling of reaction mechanisms in homogeneous catalysis.
We offer a 10 month contract (March-December 2020) associated to the Project “In Silico-Catalysis for the development of new sustainable synthetic methodologies” funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación. There is the possibility of further employment depending on performance and the availability of funds in the group. After enrollment, the candidate will be eligible for applying to doctoral scholarships from the University, the national and the regional governments.
We are looking for someone interested in research and willing to become a part of a small group, very active in international collaborations.
