– Tasks and specialist responsibility in direct patient care
– Implementation of medically prescribed measures that can be delegated
– the pre- and post-care as well as assistance in the implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic measures
– Implementation of legal provisions, quality assurance
– Further development of care guidelines and standards with the carers and professional groups involved
– Multi-professional cooperation with all professional groups involved in the process

– a completed vocational training as a specialist for geriatric nurse, recognised in Germany
– Professional experience in clinical nursing in care institutions is desirable
