2023 CALL FOR PREDOCTORAL CONTRACTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF VALLADOLID CO-FINANCED BY THE BANK OF SANTANDER

The purpose of this call is to offer 4-year employment contracts for doctoral training, under the modality of pre-doctoral contract, in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of Law 14/2011 on Science, Technology and
Innovation, as amended by Law 17/2022, of September 5, which amends Law 14/2011, of June 1 on Science, Innovation and Technology, for the development
of research tasks within the scope of a specific and novel project, aimed at the completion of the doctoral thesis in a Department or a University Research Institute of the University of Valladolid (hereinafter UVa), in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality, merit and ability. For those beneficiaries who obtain their doctoral degree before the end of the initial
4-year contract, the employment relationship will be maintained during a period of postdoctoral orientation (POP) for a maximum period of 12 months from the
date of reading of the thesis, not exceeding 4 years the sum of the two periods.

53 positions for pre-doctoral research personnel are announced, of which 7% (3 positions) are reserved for students with a disability equal to or greater than 33%.
