Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) or University Assistant (must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree) for a 20- or
40-hour/week, four- or six-year position at the Institute of Financial Accounting and Auditing

Positions as a university assistant holding a Diploma/Master’s degree are limited to a duration of a four-year period.
Positions as a university assistant holding a doctorate/Ph.D degree are limited to a duration of a six-year period.
Job Duties:
- Actively take part in the department’s research projects
- Teach university-level classes (in German)
- Provide support to manage the institute’s general administration activities
- Independently conduct postdoctoral research projects / conduct independent research and complete a doctoral thesis
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. or Diploma/Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics & Business
- Solid background and education in the field of Accounting and/or Auditing
- Language proficiency to teach in both English and German (German level C2, English level B2+)
- Research expertise in the fields of accounting and/or auditing
What We Offer:
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,277.30 gross per month as a Graduate Teaching Assistant holding a Diploma/Master’s degree and € 4,351.90 gross per month as a University Assistant holding a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
