Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Climate Justice

The project “CoP4Justice: co-planning for climate justice” opens a call for post-doctoral fellowships. The fellow will be expected to develop multi-criteria analyses; a participatory system of synthetic indicators; and propose a participatory methodology for vulnerability analysis and risk assessment for climate justice.

Requirements:

– PhD in Human Sciences (geography, political science); Applied Social Sciences (Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Economics); Engineering or related areas;

– Advanced level of English;

– Academic publications in the last five years, especially in peer-reviewed journals;

– Full dedication to research;

– Ability to communicate and disseminate science;

– Knowledge/experience: Multicriteria Analysis (MCDA); mathematical modeling; preparation of indicators;

– In-person work at the host institution (EACH-USP), with fieldwork in São Vicente, São Paulo state, Brazil.

Post-Doctoral fellowship granted by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity (more details at https://fapesp.br/en/postdoc)
