Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) – Super KUAS-Graduate Scholarship 2025

1. CV with specific academic information.
2. A detailed research plan (one page, A4 size / U.S. letter-sized paper maximum).
3. Official academic transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate* programs.
4. A list of research achievements (if any).
5. Photograph (.jpeg).
6. Summary of research (ONLY required for the Doctoral Program)
7. Research plan in English language
8. Application essay（400 words minimum, 500 words maximum)
9. Official academic transcripts from all colleges and/or universities attended
10. Certificates (expected) of graduation from academic institutions attended
11. Evidence of English language proficiency (TOEFL iBT (80) / IELTS (6.0) / PTE (50)/ Duolingo (105) These test scores must be sent directly to us from their respective testing agency, KUAS does not accept results of these tests uploaded to TAO or emailed us by the applicants.
12. Applicants who wish to apply for an English proficiency waiver must request it on their TAO application. In addition, the applicant must upload an English ability evaluation letter from one of their teachers to their application.
13. A Letter of recommendation.
14. A copy of your passport or ID or official government ID is required.
15. A copy of the residence card (only for applicants who have valid Japanese resident status) is required.

Notes:

• For the scholarship, applicants should demonstrate outstanding academic performance in their applications and indicate their intent in the “Scholarship” section of their Admission Office (TAO) applications.
