The IT Management group ensures a convergent and innovative IT infrastructure that offers our researchers a flexible platform for their specific research fields. This close interlinking requires permanent further development of our IT services. As the manager, you are responsible for the entire IT system landscape and its further development.

- Disciplinary and professional management of the IT group
- Planning, implementation and optimization of infrastructure and operational processes
- Coordination of an IT strategy to meet the specialist IT requirements
- Controlling the procurement of hardware and software (licensing)
- Ensuring service-oriented IT support for specialist departments and administration
- Coordination with central services, external service providers and project partners
- Co-design and implementation of a certifiable security concept
- Implementation of the requirements for IT compliance
- Advice on and reporting to the management level

- A completed degree in computer science, alternatively a science and technology specialization with additional information technology knowledge or a comparable qualification
- Expertise in the entire IT environment with a focus on systems and networking
- Proven professional and first management experience, ideally in the research environment
