University of Zurich invites applications for the following academic position: Professorship for Neuroradiology

The principal tasks of the future Chair are the promotion of radiological research at a clinical and translational level as well as the management of a research program. Additional responsibilities include teaching at all levels of the medical curriculum and participation in postgraduate education, as well as the promotion of both young scientists and continuing education for medical specialists.
The new Professor will also be appointed Director of the Department of Neuroradiology at the University Hospital Zurich.

The successful candidate will have a specialist title, clinical experience and a habilitation (or equivalent certification) in Neuroradiology. An outstanding and internationally recognized research record in a promising and innovative field of Neuroradiology is expected. Particularly important for this position are a great ability to integrate, a willingness to cooperate and a strong sense of overall objectives. Further expertise essential for this position is a pronounced ability and motivation to maintain excellent relations with external hospitals and referring physicians as well as with local, national and international professional societies. German language skills at level B2 of the common European framework of reference for languages should be available or must be acquired within a reasonable period of time.
