Salary
£36914 to £49553 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Post attracts a consolidated AVA and a non consolidated clinical supplement.

The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science has established a successful CPD programme, and is seeking an experienced practitioner to further develop the School’s CPD offerings, including forging collaborations within and outside the University, with a focus on the delivery of training and support to early career veterinary surgeons.

The occupant of this role will lead the ongoing development, delivery and assessment of degree apprenticeship programmes with the School. The role holder will work within an existing dedicated apprenticeship team working on the degree apprenticeship within the School, and as part of the University’s Professional and Workbased Learning team.

The post will require dynamism, a ‘can do’ attitude, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and have good communication skills. The person appointed will take an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, and will be expected to engage and be involved in the wider life of the School as required.

Candidates should possess a primary veterinary degree that can be be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, a post-graduate teaching or clinical qualification would be an advantage.

This is a full time, permanent position. Job share arrangements may be considered.
