Admission requirements:

  • compliance with the requirements provided in 116 article of the Act on Higher Education of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, with further amendments),
  • D.Sc., Ph.D. degree in the discipline of mechanical engineering or construction and operation of machines;
  • professional experience and scientific internships at research or research and teaching institutions;
  • substantive preparation and teaching experience in conducting classes with objects including vehicle construction, vehicle movement mechanics, computer simulations, reconstruction of road accidents using computer programs and carrying out experimental research of cars;
  • experience in modeling, simulation and experimental verification of car movement in complex traffic situations and automation of the car steering process;
  • knowledge of road safety issues and vehicle dynamics;
  • possession of a minimum of 3 publications in the field of science, mechanical engineering from the list of journals for 2019;
  • possession at least 10 scientific papers published in conference materials indexed in the scientific database WoS / Scopus, Hirsch index ≥ 3;
  • ability to use computer programs: Matlab/Simulink, Microsoft Office, PC-Crash,V-SIM;
  • experience in human resource management;
  • the following will be taken into consideration:
    • didactic experience in the field of vehicle construction, vehicle mechanics and experimental tests of cars,
    • participation in European and other international or national programs,
    • participation in organizational and scientific committees of national and international scientific conferences,
    • participation in editorial committees and scientific councils of magazines,
    • publication achievements and received prizes and awards,
    • participation in scientific and research works,
    • experience in training, research and analysis of the state of road safety,
    • experience as a car appraiser.

Competition application should include:

  • a letter of application to the Rector of the Military University of Technology;
  • candidate’s questionnaire;
  • copies of diplomas and other documents confirming/proving the candidate’s qualifications;
  • a declaration of consent to process personal data included in the job application in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 10th May, 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000);
  • a statement that the candidate has full capacity to act according to the law in force;
  • a declaration of no charges within a final judgment of a deliberate crime;
  • a declaration of no charges within the disciplinary procedure of the deprivation of rights to practice the profession of academic teacher on a permanent or fixed-term contract;
  • a declaration on the full use of civil rights;
  • a declaration stating whether MUT is the core or non-core workplace for the applicant.

The competition will be adjudicated no later than two weeks after the competition deadline.

The final decision regarding employment of a person selected in the course of the competition is made by the Rector of MUT.

Formal defects that constitute an absolute ground for the rejection of a tender are lack of documents mentioned above.

The Military University of Technology does not provide accommodation.

The application that are rejected will be destroyed by the evaluating committee.
