Professorship for Obstetrics and Maternal Health

The successful candidate (m/f/d) should represent the field in research, teaching and medical services. UKJ is seeking a clinical and scientific expert in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in pregnancy and the puerperium as well as in lifelong health of mothers and children. An outstanding expertise in translational research and in the conduct of clinical studies is expected. The appointee should strengthen the research focus “Aging and age-related diseases” of the Medical Faculty. This professorship is linked to the direction of the competence center for diabetes and pregnancy. For this reason a certification as diabetologist or equivalent qualification is requested.

Requirements include university degree in medicine, doctoral thesis, postdoctoral thesis (Habilitation) or equivalent scientific qualification, board certification of Gynaecology and Obstetrics and teaching skills. The candidate should have an outstanding track record in publications and extramurally funded research.
