The Opportunity
As a paid intern at AIER, you will work closely with staff on projects relating to your interests. Your skills can be applied to scholarly research, program/event planning, marketing, graphic design, communications, editorial writing, and development/fundraising.
Compensation
AIER interns are paid the minimum wage in Massachusetts. For internships lasting more than 10 weeks, participants living further than 300 miles from Great Barrington, MA also receive a $750 travel stipend.
Accommodations and Meals
Housing is provided in the AIER manor or cottages right on campus, close to the beautiful town of Great Barrington. Lunch is provided for AIER staff, fellows, and interns every workday. Many dinners are also provided.
Applications are welcome throughout the year and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

- February 1st | for summer & fall
- May 1st | for fall
- October 1st | for spring
