ETH4D Faculty Exchange Grants aim to
– permitting ETH scientists to bring collaborators from the Global South to ETH Zurich for a research stay or a workshop/conference attendance.
– funding ETH scientists to travel to partner institutions in the Global South for lectures, courses and collaboration meetings.
Partner Countries
Collaborating institutions have to be based in countries listed in the OECD/DAC list 2018-2020. Preference will be given to lower income countries.
Eligibility and application deadlines
Deadline for the next round of applications is 30 April 2020. Applications can be sent to patricia.heuberger@sl.ethz.ch.
Senior scientists and professors of ETH Zurich are eligible to apply for the ETH4D Exchange Grants. Retired Professors are eligible to apply for the teaching stay grants only.
Only ETH Zurich faculty (professors, senior scientists and postdocs) are eligible to apply.
Visiting Scientist Grant
To invite colleagues from low- and middle-income to visit ETH Zurich for a research stay or to attend a conference or workshop.
Grant sum: max. 10 kCHF.
