Looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Associate in Dr. Sang Jun Han’ lab . The primary focus of Sang Jun Han’s laboratory is on elucidating the mechanisms underlying the progression of endometriosis through the growth factor/estrogen/immune axis, utilizing various genetically modified animal models and human endometrial organoids derived from patients with endometriosis. Subsequently, our goal is to develop innovative immmuno therapies aimed at eradicating endometriotic lesions and effectively alleviating endometriosis-related symptoms, such as infertility and pain. The Post-Doc researcher will conduct animal experiments using tissue-specific gene-deleted mouse models and analyze the data using single-cell RNA sequencing and Cytometry by Time of Flight (CyTOF) to uncover novel insights into how growth factor and estrogen signaling disrupt the immune system, exacerbating endometriosis. This project has the potential to provide groundbreaking insights, bridging scientific gaps in our understanding of the molecular etiology of endometriosis and paving the way for new immune-based therapies that can effectively treat endometriosis patients without the adverse effects associated with current hormonal treatments.
