The Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control is offering a post-doctoral fellowship in the general area of Robotics, Systems and Control. You are expected to devote 2/3 of your time to research and 1/3 of your time to teaching.

Job description

You are free to choose your research topic, provided that it has synergies with existing research at the institute. The teaching responsibilities consist of supporting two classes in the Master of Science in Robotics, Systems and Control graduate program: Dynamic Programming and Optimal Control and Recursive Estimation.

We offer up to a three-year appointment at the standard ETH Post-doc salary level.

Your profile

  • Defended their PhD thesis at the time of appointment
  • A strong background in robotics, systems and control
  • Peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals and conference proceedings
  • Excellent communication skills in English
