About the prize: The Holland scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, as well as by Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship is intended for international students not belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to do their master’s in Holland.

Eligibility: Applicants to the Eric Bleumink Fund must:
- Have obtained conditional admission to the program of your choice (see: www.rug.nl/masters/alphabetical )
- Have excellent academic performance, preferably to be confirmed by letters of recommendation
- Have excellent grades during their Bachelor / Undergraduate studies;
- Have an excellent command of English, in accordance with the admission conditions of the chosen program
- Be available for the duration of the program and be able to participate in the entire program
- Be in good health, so that health insurance in the Western country is the nationality of a country listed in Annex 1.
- Do not have other means to finance the study in question
Value of the scholarship: The subsidy covers tuition fees, travel expenses abroad, subsistence costs, books and health insurance. Please note that a considerable number of students apply for this scholarship each year, while the University can only award a limited number of scholarships.
Duration of the scholarship: The grant is awarded for a 1-year or 2-year master’s program.
How to register:
- The admissions office of the University of Groningen , in consultation with the admissions councils of its faculties, will determine which candidates will be nominated for a scholarship from the Eric Bleumink Fund.
- Only candidates who received an admission offer (conditional) for a master program before February can therefore be taken into account.
