Allocation for Diversity in the Public Service 2019-2020 Île-de-France

Its aim  is to provide financial support to the most deserving and low-income candidates who prepare the public service category A or B competitions, with financial support of 2,000 euros.

For the 2019-2020 school year, 266 allocations for diversity will be awarded in Île-de-France: 116 for students in the five integrated preparatory classes (IPC) in the region and 150 for other applicants.

Who can ask?

Students and jobseekers holding a diploma allowing them to write a category A or B competition in the public service.

► Students and jobseekers, who have already benefited from the Diversity Allowance and failed the previous year’s competitions, can apply for renewal once they are registered in CPI for this new campaign .

► Nationals of a Member State of the European Union or a State Party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as well as Swiss nationals.

NOTE  : The allowance can be combined with social criteria grants and is taxable.

This questionnaire only concerns candidates whose residence address during the course is located in Île-de-France.

What are the eligibility criteria when the ceiling of total gross income declared exceeds € 33,100?

► Resources and family composition.

► The distance between the residence during the training and the place of study.

► Candidates preparing “alone” are eligible subject to being enrolled in distance learning when they engage in a tutoring process. Tutorial charter to download at the bottom of the document. (See doc n ° 1)

What are the prioritization criteria?

► The merit of the candidate linked to his previous career (the mention of two diplomas including the BAC are taken into account, depending on the chosen competition).

► The absence of repetition

► The candidate’s motivation to join the civil service (CV and cover letter)

► If the candidate has been domiciled in the priority neighborhood of the city (QPV) or rural revitalization area (ZRR), it must mention it in the top left of the CV The candidate must provide evidence with the links indicated infra.

► If the school attended was classified as a city priority political district (QPV) or rural revitalization area (RPA) at the BAC only . The candidate will have to provide the proof with the links indicated:

If I’m in CPI, what should I do?

► After having been selected and retained by an integrated preparatory class (IPC), the applicant must enter his application online at the address indicated by the ICC to which he reports.

The student who was in CPI in N-1, who has already benefited from the diversity allowance and failed the competitions the previous year, can ask for the renewal of this one as soon as he prepares again to pass a category A or B competition.

What are my obligations ?

► the candidate undertakes to follow his preparation diligently and to take part in the competition tests. Otherwise, reimbursement of the allowance will be required.
