The European Master in Public Health Europubhealth + is a two-year multidisciplinary training course delivered in a unique multicultural environment. It takes place in at least two different European countries and is taught in English, Spanish or French depending on the host university.
The Master is aimed at students with various profiles (clinical sciences, social sciences, management or engineering) holding a License or equivalent, who wish to move towards a career in public health at the local, national or international level. The first year is dedicated to the fundamentals of public health. For the second year, students can choose one of the 7 specializations offered, corresponding to the different key areas of public health.
For the start of the September 2022 school year, the consortium is offering Erasmus Mundus excellence scholarships of a maximum amount of € 46,000 to the best candidates.
To be eligible for these scholarships, you must meet the eligibility conditions for the Master and submit an online application before January 12, 2022.

AMOUNT / SERVICES
The Erasmus Mundus Excellence Grant covers travel costs, participation costs and living expenses during the Master (max. € 46,000 for the two years of the program). The total amount of the scholarship may vary depending on the nationality and place of residence of the student. Therefore, proof of current place of residence at the time of application is mandatory to be provided at the time of scholarship application.
The scholarship is made up of the following elements:
- Contribution to installation costs: € 1,000 paid at the start of the program.
- Contribution to travel costs: From € 2,000 to € 3,000 per year, paid at the start of the academic year.
- Contribution to living expenses: € 1,000 per month.
- Contribution to participation costs: € 8,000 per year, deducted from the scholarship at the start of the academic year.
DURATION
The Erasmus Mundus excellence grant is awarded for the duration of the training program, namely 23 months (September year N – July year N + 2).

AGE
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet the eligibility conditions for the Master:
- hold a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) or equivalent
- have a sufficient language level in English, Spanish and / French depending on the course chosen.

There is no age limit to be eligible.

The training is open to students holding a university license (180 ECTS) or a certified equivalent, in any university discipline.
Our students come from various backgrounds, including disciplines related to health (medicine, pharmacy, biology, nursing, …), social sciences (sociology, economics, psychology, anthropology, geography, law, political science … .) engineering or business administration.
LANGUAGE MASTERY
Depending on the chosen course of study, students must certify a certain level of language (CEFR):
- B2 / C1 in English (regardless of the course chosen)
- B2 in Spanish (if part of the course for which the student is applying takes place in Spain)
- B2 in French (if part of the course for which the student is applying takes place in Rennes in France or Liège in Belgium)

SELECTION PROCESS
The Europubhealth + selection committee is made up of representatives of the 8 partner universities of the consortium.
All applications are carefully considered according to Europubhealth + eligibility criteria (eg language level, previous diploma, etc.). Eligible applications are then scored and ranked in order of merit by the selection committee according to the Europubhealth + evaluation criteria. All applicants who achieve the minimum score set by the selection committee are selected to join the program and the best are awarded an Erasmus Mundus Excellence Scholarship.
The selection results are announced within 8 weeks of the application deadline.
