Candidates must possess a record of sustained scholarly research and publications in leading refereed journals, evidence of excellent teaching ability and innovation in program development, and of a wider impact on the scholarly community. The successful candidates will be expected to maintain a strong research program including publishing in leading journals in HRM, successfully competing for research funding, teaching courses in areas such as HRM, strategy, employment relations and cognate fields, and contributing to ongoing curriculum and program development. Reflecting the high-profile nature of this position, the successful candidate should maintain an impressive record of service and leadership in one’s discipline, including involvement in professional associations, conference organization and track chairing, and editorial teams and boards, and serve as an ambassador for the Department.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with previous performance, qualifications and experience in accordance with the Collective Agreement. The appointment is effective July 1, 2020.
