Copernicus eV : Full scholarship for students from Eastern Europe and Central Asia

COPERNICUS consists of two associations in Berlin and Hamburg for the promotion of Eastern, Central European and Central Asian students. Every semester, students with a scholarship are invited to Berlin or Hamburg.
There, the students take part in teaching at the local university for one semester and then complete a two to three-month internship in a company, organization or authority. Accommodation is mainly in host families.

Type of promotion

With its scholarship program, COPERNICUS aims to promote the training of qualified East, Central and Southeast European and Central Asian students. In addition, this program is intended to contribute to intensifying personal contacts between East and West. At least on a small scale, COPERNICUS wants to create an exchange forum between German and Eastern European students. Ultimately, COPERNICUS is intended to contribute to the development, stabilization and democratization in post-communist countries at the same time.
