Postdoctoral positions are available in the Zhang Lab

Postdoctoral positions are available in the Zhang Lab (https://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/zhang-alec/), in the Department of Physiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, to study cancer and immune checkpoint biology. We are the leader studying functions of immune inhibitory receptor family LILRBs in tumor microenvironment and tumor development, with a series of publications in reputable journals including Nature and sister journals. Our studies have led to development of novel therapeutic strategies. Previous trainees in this lab were successful in securing positions in academia and pharmaceutical industries.

We have new projects to investigate the function of novel ligand/receptor interactions in tumor microenvironment of solid cancers. Applicants with a recent Ph.D. and a strong background in molecular & cell biology and protein-protein interaction are encouraged to apply. A track record of productivity and publications in well-established journals is essential.

Interested individuals please send curriculum vitae and contact information for three references by email to: Alec.Zhang@UTSouthwestern.edu, Alec Zhang, Ph.D., Professor, UT Southwestern Medical Center.
