The project provides both the volunteers as well as children and youth from Kerava an opportunity to internationalise and gain a learning experience from cultural interaction. The volunteers will take part in the various activities of the Youth Services and Kerava City Library. They will participate in the activities for 9–25-years old youth in the youth houses and mobile unit by organising e.g. multicultural education in an afternoon club and by taking part in youth evenings. Work can be carried out also in other activities which Youth Services provide e.g. school youth work. Youth Services also engourage volunteers to co-operation with other municipal actors. All activities will be carried out together with the youth workers regarding the professional skills and interests of the volunteer.
