The Vector Institute scholarships in artificial intelligence (AI) are merit-based scholarships that recognize the best candidates pursuing studies related to artificial intelligence in Master programs recognized by the Vector Institute or who follow a course individualized study that is clearly focused on AI in Ontario, Canada. Scholarships will be awarded to students in basic technical programs and complementary fields such as business or health care.

Benefits of the Vector Institute Scholarship in Canada

The Vector Institute scholarship in artificial intelligence is valued at CAN $ 17,500 for a full year of study.

Eligibility for the Vector Institute Scholarship in Canada

To be taken into account for the scholarship, the medjouel.com team informs you that students must have a cumulative average equivalent to the honorable mention (A-) and take the following measures:

1. Apply and agree to follow full-time studies as part of an AI-related master program in the province of Ontario, namely: A)  recognized by the Vector Institute  ; or B) in an AI discipline offering individualized study paths that are clearly AI-focused
2. Submit a statement of 250 words (maximum) explaining the reasons why you wish to obtain a Master in artificial intelligence, your relevant experience and your professional aspirations. The statements must be submitted directly to the program to which the student has applied and which has offered admission.
3. Obtain references from two arbitrators, one of whom must be an academic. Reference forms  must be submitted directly by the arbitrator to the administrator of the program to which the student has applied and who has proposed admission of the student. Students must complete the upper part of the form before emailing it to their referees.

Application instructions

Students cannot apply directly for the scholarship. Interested applicants should contact the administrator of the AI-related Master program and indicate their interest in being considered for the application and Confirm the date by which documents must be received. Scholarship applications must be submitted through the program (s) that the prospective student has applied and must contain the following:

1. copies of all official transcripts;
2. two references. Note that the referee forms are not the same as the ones you submitted when you signed up for your program. Arbitration forms will be available on the Vector website on January 6, 2020;
3. an updated CV from one page to two pages; and
4. a 250-word statement explaining why you are looking for a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, your relevant experience and your professional aspirations.
