The Physics & Computer Science Department at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a three year limited term faculty position in computer science at the rank of Assistant Professor, with specialty in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Data Mining and Big Data Management. The position will begin July 1, 2022 and is subject to budgetary approval.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an individual commitment to teaching, research and service. Applicants are expected to have a PhD in Computer Science and the ability to teach a wide range of undergraduate and graduate computer science courses. Candidates must also have an active research portfolio that complements existing research in the department. We also welcome statements that speak to a candidate’s experience with and commitment to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion (e.g., scholarship, teaching, mentoring, lived experience).
